[Letter from Horatio Alger, Sr. to Rev. Stephen A. Barnard, Lansing, Michigan] 1883 Nov. 24.

In his letter from South Natick, H. Alger, Sr. continues the narrative from a previous letter about his European trip, this time in Switzerland and Italy. He mentions Horatio's purchase of a watch in Geneva. He also writes that he has reached 67 years of age and that Horatio, being a bachelor with a large income has offered to support him if he feels like retiring from the pulpit.
